What I've seen with highly attractive women and tattoos at Alizée's level (Number of Tattoos) it is usually peer and significant others that encourage more and more tattoos. Girl friends as well as boy friend / husbands push it so that as Future Raptor Aces pointed out making a similar point career wise, the number of high income or high quality available men having romantic interest in the highly tattooed woman drops dramatically.

No financially successful guy wants to date let alone marry the Barnum and Baily tattooed woman.

I can say without a doubt, that most fans have no idea what she is really like. Most would be rather shocked, I think. Honestly, this doesn't surprise me, but it's still disappointing. She's too pretty to go covering her body in that crap.

You know what... I say let her go for it. It doesn't bother me, not right now or lately. I used to mind it a bit before. Anyway I still think she's very attractive and I don't think tattoos influence an artist's ability to make music. If it affects her negatively in any other areas like sales and stuff, oh well. I'll stick around. I'm just happy she's letting us in like this, anybody remember the Hebrew tattoo on her wrist and how you had to zoom in like crazy on a pic of her singing just to find out about it?
