That's exactly what my posts on her page are about. Getting the word spread.

I put out a bulletin on the (Alizée USA Campaign) special profile explaining the procedure, hopefully...everyone read it..

Yes, but her page is read by other fans who spread it to other fans sites. It's good to rally the troops and all, but it's starting to become the same 20 or 30 people joining every group and forum. Time to begin branching out!

I think the best bet would probably be to reel in new fans, rather than attracting the attention of existing ones?

It seems impossible without doing something shocking or attention grabbing, but which to do?

Hey, it doesn't have to be anything major to start with. Post a thread in a non-Alizée forum. Write a digg.com entry. Call a college radio DJ. Whatever. Or, post flyers around your city.

Hopefully we'll eventually be able to do something in the media, like others were talking about a few pages back.

Well, last time I visited America, it was in Hollywood. There was a huge music store on Hollywood Blvd. and all these people were outside giving out samples of their music. What we could do is gather a friend, and do something similar in a popular music store/populated place in OUR respective areas. Burn like several discs of 2-3 Alizée songs (let's not give away free albums here people), my best bet would be her single Fifty Sixty, the new La Isla Bonita, and/or a "bonus track" completely random in each CD.

I don't know, but whatever will work must be considered.

All of which I have done, all of which have failed

I posted her on other forums, others didn't care that much. Tried to contact radio Djs, none contacted me back. Even sent Elvis from the Z-morning zoo and email during his show, he said he had no emails when i clearly sent him one!

Im 5 hours from LA by plane, im not going there anytime soon!

If we're going to do some posters, I say put up a mural of posters. If it's not illegal of course, if it is, i'll do it.

It's not gonna happen overnight. This is something everyone has to do persistently. Mexico may seem to have come out of the blue, but really the fans had been pushing her there for years.

Yes, this is a major problem. We were talking about it. TheBarrett's CD idea is great, they did stuff like that in Mexico. But it worked there because almost everyone was concentrated in Mexico City. What we need are like 5-10 people who can meet in a place like Times Square and hand out CDs and flyers. And the same in a few other major cities across the country too.
