Well they don't have much taste at all but they feel like polystyrene in your mouth.

Oh, ok, I understand they're plain but still can't say I've ever chewed up polystyrene or could say what it feels like in my mouth.... o.O

I just looked up polystyrene as the only polystyrene I knew of was a fairly hard plastic however, I see that 'expanded polystyrene' is what we lay men know as 'styrofoam'. In that case, yeah, I've probably bit off a piece of a styrofoam cup

Still, I guess I'm just weird but I can't recall eating packing peanuts, much less a handful!
