Seems to be "Samuel" which she wrote as "Sawuel", I guess.

Maybe she choked on an M&M once which caused the demise of her dancing career and she's trying to get back at the world ridding it of a gift that rid her of hers....

Or that's just how she rolls

Hey, I love m&m's! Like aaronius said, she may be writing in what I call scriptzée, a language no mortal man can comprehend without his head exploding!

I received my autographed copy today at the same time as my regular copy from amazon.fr. I'm gonna have to have my french friend take a look at it to help me translate it. I think it says "Mille Coeurs" but it looks more like it starts with "Ce..." and I don't see a recognizable "r." I think I might just need someone who's used to seeing french in cursive to give me a hand.

The jewel case had a hairline vertical crack (hardly noticable), about an inch long, in the top right corner on the front. I think it must have happened sometime prior to being shipped since the one from Sruffydog was much, much better packaged than the one from Amazon which had no visible damage. Pas de probleme; I simply transferred the autographed book and the disc that came with it to the pristine jewel case from Amazon, et voila!

Thanks a googolplex to to Scruffydog and all the people who made this opportunity possible.

I'm not used to cursive French, but I use cursive habitually, and am not terrible at deciphiring it. I could help, but you would have to post it at imageshack.

Yea, mine has some scuffs on the bottom right corner. I think Scruffy even said some of the cd's took one for the team... but the case isn't what's important

Thanks for the offer but I have a true frenchman friend (for those who remember the 2007 Alizée birthday party we had, the chef and owner of the restaurant). I'll have him take a look at it first.

Really there's nothing unique about the jewel cases. Just buy another copy and swap like I did. I bought another copy because I wanted to be able to keep one on a safe place and in pristine condition and have another to actually take places and be used. That way you can have you (Alizée) cake and eat it too

I'd just like to say that mine was in perfect condition. Not a single scratch or dent.
And I plan on keeping it that way for years to come.
