Unfortunately, no one knows how many fans Alizée has in the US, and the US media is totally oblivious of our existence and has missed out on a potentially great story. We haven’t attracted her attention.
In Mexico, the fans have been vocal and the media there took notice and gave Alizée the national exposure she needed to become huge. They earned their visit. I wish we could have done the same here in the US. |

Más de mil personas querían entrar a la tienda de discos en donde se llevaría cabo el evento por lo que empujaban las mallas metálicas que pusieron como protección.
yea....it says that there were more than 1 thousand people there and they were trying to push through the metal screens to get into the store Alrededor de 30 elementos de seguridad y empleados de la sucursal tuvieron que salir para evitar que la gente no se lastimara pero era casi imposible ya que los fanáticos querían ver a su estrella. it also says that there were about 30 security people and employees who went out to prevent the people from getting hurt which was almost impossible since everyone wanted to see their favorite star Al momento de anunciar la cancelación del evento, la gente gritaba y continuaba empujándose. at the time when they annouced the cancellation the people screamed and continued to push Se sabe que luego de suspenderse la firma, Alizée abandonó inmediatamente el lugar. it is known that right after they cancelled the autograph signing Alizée left the place right away Personal de la disquera a la que pertenece la cantante comentó que ella se encontraba feliz y consternada a la vez por la fuerte convocatoria que tuvo. reps. from the label she works for (im guessing RCA) commented that she was very happy but appalled of how things ended they were also very unorganized which is the reason they cancelled the event Last edited by penguinluvr91; 03-05-2008 at 08:55 PM.. |

How awful! I do hope no one got hurt. The article wasn't too clear. It's too bad for all the Alizee fans there, but especially those that traveled so far. Our guys are gonna be real depressed, I bet.

That's terrible news.
By the way, there was a long list of rules posted on alizee-mexico describing how people had to maintain order or else the signing would get canceled. Sounds like people didn't follow the rules and/or the crowd got out of hand. http://www.alizee-mexico.net/foros/i...p?topic=9401.0 Last edited by fsquared; 03-05-2008 at 09:09 PM.. |

I hope we hear from our guys soon. I've been wondering if they were in the thick of it.

I found the hotel Sir Wood booked. Does anyone know his real name so I can call and ask for him?
