Well, Rocket I would certainly hope that if Alizée read any of this kind of stuff, which I really doubt at this point, that she'd have a sense of how people get to just rolling with a subject and it grows beyond anything reasonable that anyone would have in a normal conversation, not to mention that we get some really idiotic posts sometimes (not saying which) and one must take all this with a huge lump of salt. I would hope that Alizée would know that there are many people who really adore her and many people who in any case really want to see and hear from her when ever they can. I would hope that in not wanting to hear the insulting, cruel, or idiotic things that people in the public might say she would not shut out all the positive energy going her way, not throw the baby out with the bath water.
Having said that, I'm sure your point is very valid.

Now here's an off the wall "watch" item I have never posted before because I didn't want to sound alarmist or feed rumor mills. Oh well, please take it as given, as an "off the wall" watch item. Alizée would have been almost two when Chernobyl blew up, and it's a pretty well known fact the fallout hit Corsica. At the level transmitted, thyroid cancer is the danger. And what are the symptoms of thyroid cancer? Fatigue and Weight gain. OK, there...I said it. This is based SOLELY on the events and dates and is based on nothing else. Just something to watch for, and hope Alizée has good physicians who are on top of checking for such things.

With all due respect, Ogre, but this is just complete nonsense. The effects from Chernobyl were completely negligible in europe (and that includes Corsica). Yes, there was a bit more radiation than usual for a short period of time but it barely registered on the instruments and it was most certainly not a health risk for anyone living in europe. Please stop the fear mongering.
