I just recently started listening to Superbus, they're another great band from France (as most of you probably know). Two clips, one is a live performance of "Radio song", the other the music video for "Pop'N'Gum".

i don't think i ever tried psychedelic hippie rock but damn i actually liked that a lot!

This is from the movie La Vie En Rose. It's the life of Edith Piaf. In this scene, her father, who is promoting his circus, demands that she sing something for the crowd. Edith had terrible stage fright. The little girl who portrayed Edith as a child did an excellent job. You can feel the emotion of the crowd as she sings La Marseillaise.
