Actually, I'm surprised they didn't do something about this a long time ago. If I understand correctly, there will be 2 hit parades now, one like we have now, but one will be restricted to only music that is less than a year old.

As much as I like his voice and many of his songs, Radio Atlantis listeners are probably getting tired of hearing the same songs at the top all the time. And it's probably a small group of dedicated fans, not the general listeners, that keep voting the same songs up to the top.

Radio Atlantis wants to allow new songs and new artists to get a chance, and it would be more interesting for the listeners. Since Les Collines and UEDS are obviously less than a year old, this shouldn't affect Alizée at this time.

Yeah, that's what I gathered from the e-mail as well. Let's just hope that Alizée fares well against the new artists/songs.
