Exactly! I think that her cuteness can only go so far if she didn't have that amazing personality to match it. In fact, I think those two things working synergistically are what draws us to her and keeps us loyal. We like her because we know that everything about her is real and from the heart. She's so pure and natural. There are just certain things that can't be faked.

Alizée romances her audience. That something other performers do not necessarily do. She makes it seems like she is performing specifically for you.

Someone had a thread awhile ago called the Alizee Effect.

She knows how to work her audience, that's why you like her.
Citing a study about basic human attraction really seems like you're grasping at straws. Stop putting this woman on a pedestal. I can tell you exactly why you're obsessed with Alizee, but it wouldn't be very appropriate. Last edited by Euphoria; 11-21-2011 at 01:39 PM.. |

Really? Have you watched the Russian concert footage lately? In the past maybe. She performs so rarely these days it's pretty difficult to judge how a full concert would be? I doubt if we will ever know. |

That was a low point. She got better immediately thereafter.

thats the beauty of Alizee, You can see her progression on stage with each concert from age 15 to age 27. I love some her early Moi Lolita stage performances where she goes from just standing in one place to running across the stage playing to the audience. For a shy person, you can start to see her opening up more often.

Can some one remind me what concerts she has had recently?
