If you are wondering why they went back to WWII...
Infinity Ward said they were fed up of WWII after they finished COD2 and wanted to try something else for a change. Activision didn't want to mess with their successful formula. So they hired Treyarch to do COD3 while IW worked on COD4. Frankly, Activision expected COD4 to flop and COD5 was meant to be a backup.
Well, we all know that COD4 was far from being a flop.Since the game was in development even before COD4 they have to release it.
Actually it looks good from the screens, and as long as it is not dreary as MOH:PA, I think it's worth a try.

Since seeing the trailer and gameplay footage this game actually doesn't look too bad. Is the Co-Op gonna be able to do split screen or just system links? Or does it have to be done over live? If they released this info yet.

I think its going to be all 3. I know for a fact its definitely over live so, I would imagine it will be split screen and system link too.

Ugh, I'm getting so sick of WWII shooters. This looks pretty decent, but still. Oh well, it's not like I'll have the time to play it anyway.

I can never get sick of WWII shooters. The scope of the war is so massive that one game cant expect to cover the whole war. I would like a mission where your in the famous B-29 the Enola Gay, and you have to drop the Bomb on Hiroshima. It would be in great memory to Paul Tibbets since he passed in November. Maybe we can expect to see that in this game.
