I've had this problem in OmniWeb, as well (which is based on Safari's rendering engine). If anyone has Konquerer, it might be worth a shot to see if the issue's there, too.

I don't see any major problem in Konqueror. Only the transparency doesn't work ( missing opacity property for kde html: -khtml-opacity ).
Also in Safari the issue seems to affect only the images below the fold, the random vid and latest vid images are working fine. |

yea as jess said, it logs you out even if you don't close your browser. that's the only other problem i've seen. usually i'm on a pc, but today was the first time i visited the site on my ibook, so i may have missed things.

btw, apple released safari beta for windows, i haven't tried it for myself but a lot of web people are downloading to do compatibility checks. maybe you'll wanna check it out brad.

Brad, this problem has been around for ages. Maybe you should nix transparency for Safari-goers altogether? I'll submit a bug to apple.

I do notice, however, that you can get to the vid from the thumbnail; you just need to click while the mouse is moving.

i just installed the brand new safari for windows (just came out today) and i see the problem. strange that it works fine with the videos on the top of the homepage.
i will have to look and see if there are differences in the code. |

yea remember its only beta so its going to have a lot of bugs on its own regardless of the sites.
