Yeah, I'm not into collecting like that, but I appreciate the people who take the effort to do so! However, I do feel anyone who calls themself a fan should buy as many albums and songs (CDs or digital) that they are able to.

Well yes, that would be nice. But one doesn't have to buy CDs in order to be a fan. But I do believe, that if someone illegally downloads music from an artist, they should eventually buy the albums they downloaded in order to support the artist.

When artists sell a certain number of singles they receive a certification for it. Certifications are usually for like 500,000 discs, 1,000,000 discs and stuff like that. I don't tlknow how many Fifty Sixty sold though. But when you get a certification you receive a gold disk, or a silver disk, or a platinum disk, or a double platinum and some other ones....

Ah, so it's basically just a trophy. A non-playable, but symbolic CD.
