Well, if you're going to do that, you might as well copy and paste from the "Alizée America" that sits at the top of this web page. (That's what I just did ).

I often make up cds and dvds with her songs and videos in which case I usually capitalize her whole name and to get É, I type alt + 0201 using US keyboard.

You're not, I know as well. My dad is a huge Apple fan and in turn made me one. Steve Jobs and Apple are always leading the industry and inventing new products and I got a lot of respect for them because of that. I follow all the latest news and watch the keynote every year, although I use a PC (/shame I know) it's only because I am also a huge gamer and its just easier to upgrade and I don't have the money to spend on a new Mac to run boot camp.

As for the topic I use alt+0233 to get the é.

well i used to be a big mac person. i've gone through few macs myself, starting with mac plus, IIsi, 8100, G3 (artimis), G4 (sawtooth), and my final mac being a G4 ibook from 2003. i've lost a lot of my interest in the mac world for some reason which is funny now that they've gone over to intel and made windows possible via bootcamp, they've gained a lot of converts. spending a lot of time on both platforms however made me realize that not everything is so rosy in the mac world and it's really hard to beat the PC when it comes to price, compatibility on the web, and things like more software and games. i'm happy for apple and their gains in the market share, but i gotta say it was more fun being a fan back in the powerPC, pre-ipod era when we were more of a minority.

and apologies for the off-topic post.

i concur

i recently bought a Dell simply b/c it still has the XP series
i didn't want to deal with the compatibility issues of Vista or Macs

simpler is better sometimes especially considering that i'm not a computer expert
