The new one... soon.
Actually, that's one reason I made these threads now: So we can have things in place, set up and ready to go, when the next single or album hits. |

Two cents from Alizee Nation, check it out, see if it's worth it.
Sirius Satellite Radio 1) channel 1 is Hits radio their morning show has their own website http://moremashup.com/ and their website for the whole station is here http://www.sirius.com/siriushits1 they have an 800 # to request songs and email to send to under "whats hot" is their recent interview with Paula Abdul, hmmm 2)Latin Pop - from the 90's till now. Does not have a channel number as I see and its online only??? Called viva - Viva explores the contemporary side of Latin pop and ballads. Move to the biggest superstars of Latin pop hits from the '90s and today. Alizee can fit in nicely there. http://www.sirius.com/viva I do not see an email or phone # 3) NEW - its called Brandepart A Radio-Canada channel dedicated to the best emerging Francophone pop, rock, electronica, hip-hop, punk and world music. http://www.sirius.com/bandeapart it's channel 87 in French I dont see a contact email or phone # The last two appear to be new, sirius hits 1 has been around and you can listen to it via the Dish Network on channel 6001. I did not find the other two on my Dish listings. If Sirius hits 1 receives enough email they may tell us which station to send our request since the others dont seem to have a contact. Since everyone does not access to Sirius it is not the end all, but possibly another avenue to explore. Tear it apart and see whatcha think |

As far as radio stations go, maybe we should have everyone who is willing submit a list of radio stations in their area that take requests. Pick stations that serve the same niche that Alizée’s music fits into or has some likelihood of success in getting played. College stations may be a good bet. Identify the e-mail address and/or the phone number of the request line and the time of day, week, etc. in which requests are taken, as well as any other contact info. We can then compile them all into one target list. It would be nice to be prepared before her new album is out.

My mistake, bande a part does have a request a song link
just a thought I know not everyone can get it but it may be an easy, receptive place to start There I go again Z-100, OK, I sent in my song request! They have a page for request: http://www.z100.com/pages/info/request.html Yeah, they have a list they really want you to pick from but you can do a write in. I am sure the odds are long and big stations have a play list they work from...but...if you NYC'ers do walk in...they can't say they have not had a request now. No sense letting odds and rules get in our way College stations...I just picked one at random just to say I did it and really to learn from it. U of Texas Austin. KVRX 91.7 http://kvrx.org/node/63 I can listen to it via Itunes. They try to play non main stream. KVRX's motto is "None of the Hits, All of the Time," referring to the station's alternative programming "we choose to go to the moon, not because it is easy, but because it is hard" I really do a decent version of President Kennedy on this, really ashamed to waste it on a text...or maybe it isn't. Depends who you talk to, me or everyone else. Ever watch the movie "The Messenger" ? Joan of Arc is always saying, better now then tomorrow. but...but...but... oh well, I already did it Last edited by Alizee Nation; 07-04-2009 at 07:25 PM.. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |

There are a couple of college stations around my area, and I've noticed that most do tend to play lesser known music..I'm going to look into that and see if any of them take requests. That would probably be a good place to start as far as getting Alizée's music out there. Edit: I should have read the posts above before replying...heh. Well, at least I'm on the same track as you all! Strangely enough, I can't find something about requests on one station and the other's motto ("It's Only Rock and Roll") didn't look too promising. I'll keep looking around though.http://www.radio-locator.com/cgi-bin...t=col&s=R&sr=Y If I can request a song somewhere, which one would be best? Last edited by nomdeplume; 07-21-2009 at 12:43 PM.. |

OK, so we've got us a single, a track listing, and an actual release date for the next album. It seems to me like it's time to kick-start this thread again, if we want to get this thing rolling by the end of March.
So here's the call for ideas and volunteers. Let's brainstorm. Who's in, and what are we in for?
