How about "Lily," flower of my heart?
Karla's keen ear makes for her insightful observation, which probably points at the original spelling ("Lili"). But yes, perhaps for appeal to anglophones, they did indeed officially spell the song title "Lilly Town."
And as if there is not enough confusion, my favorite spelling is "Lily" for the reason I first provided at my very first post to AAm, here, viz.:
I like the spelling "Lily" because the flower reminds me of France.
Thus, the spelling used in the fanciful artwork here. And YES, I'm very sure the fact that a flower is, quite simply, a "reproductive structure", and that in French fleur-de-lis sounds exactly like fleur-de-lit ("flower of the bed") has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with it! . Besides, look at the image above. If anything, it looks a little more like a boy than a girl... although I guess Alizée supposedly did say:
Yes. I don't know anything about my past lives, but I'd like to be reincarnated as a boy. I don't know why, but sometimes, I react like a guy.
Oh wait, I get it! A flower is a structure that has both male and female parts... Seriously now, I'm no longer young and if I was given to fantasy, I'd imagine Alizée as a vivacious daughter with a much-loved husband and his child, not anything else. Besides, I know how dangerous it can be to fall in love with a French woman! Realize[e] that a beautiful daughter will hang around the planet much longer than any wife or lover, and if life is worth living and saving, it is worth extending, too. |

Which one you use probably is dictated by when you became a fan. Most of the people using Lilly seem to have become fans in the psych era, while the people who use lili became fans with MCE or earlier.

Even on the official website had the song listed as Lili Town. Alizee even owned www.lilitown.com It was typed Lilly Town on the CD, so she went with that. |

As far as I know, Alizée has never published a written form of her nickname, only said it in interviews. So we don't know.
Maybe she writes it Lilie. Or Lyly. Or maybe she uses Cyrillic characters or the Hebrew alphabet.

I saw it, but "Lili Town" is the name of a song. We're talking about Alizée's nickname, which is something different and we don't even know for sure the two are connected.
