Here's what I said about Alizée and the Corsican accent:
http://www.moi-alizee.us/forums/show...5740#post15740 (end of post) Also this about the marseillais accent: http://www.moi-alizee.us/forums/show...5654#post15654 I swear that I still can't hear a Corsican accent and that it's only her for me (still sometimes only when she mumbles a bit). It may be me, but I asked around me since those accent threads above and all friends agreed with me, at least about Alizée No, this can't be. |

Maybe it's so close to you own accent that you can't hear it ? It would sound "normal" to you then.

Ok, I see what you mean about her R sounds. She sometimes "scratches" them more than normal indeed. But I still think it's her only. By the way, don't mix the French R sound that is "scratched" up with the Russian R sound for example that is "rolled"

Listen to Alizée in the funtv interview when she says 'vraiment', you will see what I mean. I don't remember what part of the interview though.. |

I can't really tell, where I live, I hear a lot of French canadians, and can only recognize really extreme French accents because I am so used to hearing it.
