And Happy I am that we've had this year together!

I can remember wading through all the rumours... waiting, waiting for something new...

Woo! I discovered Alizée just after this album came out, so it was my first real exposure to her music. For everyone else, the new album was a departure from what she'd done before...but for me, what she'd done before was a real departure from what I'd loved about Psychédélices. And as much as I now adore the songs from Gourmandises and MCE, Lillytown, Decollage and Fifty-Sixty will always be the first songs of Alizée's that I listened to over and over again... not because they were incidental to a dance, a smile or an outfit, but strictly because I really dug the music.

Happy birthday, Psychédélices! Here's to the hope of a new little brother or sister sometime soon!

Default Amazing!

Wow. I cannot believe it has been a year. It seems like it went
so fast. Didn't the album just come out Yesterday?

Well, it has been a pretty good year! Thanks Alizée!

Since the album is loved by people from all across the world, a measly "Happy Birthday" simply will not suffice .

Happy Birthday
Joyeux Anniversaire!
Sun Yat Fai Lok!
Alles Gute zum Geburtstag!
¡Feliz cumpleaños!
С днем рождения
Buon compleanno

+ 8000 more (too lazy to look 'em up )

Yeah, with the world economy in the toilet, I can't say I agree . For me, 2008 will forever be the year of the Beijing Olympics, Barack Obama, and, most importantly, the year I discovered the beautiful music of Alizée.

Joyeux anniversaire Alizée !! I must say, I'm happy for the effort you have made on this album, but what makes me happier, is the album by itself, Psychédelices. Though this time you didn't work neither with Myléne nor Laurent, you did a great job. Psychedelices represents for me a part of the "new" Alizee, or at least, most of your feelings.
And I would like to congrat Jeremy too, since he worked on the album, too. Actually, he wrote 50/60, which is one of my favorite songs , so joyeux anniversaire J-man . And also, congratulations for everyone who worked in this masterpiece of album

I will be waiting for the next one, and I hope it will be much better than this one, so put your best effort Lilly !

2nd that, though it was one of the best things that had happened ever in my life, I wish It had been much more time before

Nice. Did you post all that to her myspace (or theirs')? Who knows, she might see it.

And that's a good reminder. I wonder how much money she made off that thing. She had to pay all those people!
Well, sometimes this world sucks, but all couple hundred thousand or less (uh, some of us bought mutiple of us who bought the album are hopefully still happy about it. Boy, if I could create an album and then have any number of thousands of people actually buy it, that would be pretty incredible. The only reason one could take a position less than that here is because it's THE Alizée. She's not just anyone.
