I was talking strictly about dealing with the organized crime business in my post. Like I said at the end the separatist movement is not going to an easy fix. That is going to a long term problem for the authorities on Corsica.

If there is no way for the mob to launder their ill gotten gains from drugs, gambling, and prostitution through businesses and banks on the Island they are not going to stick around. They'll take their business to a more hospitable location away from prying eyes of the French Government.

The mob are not the ones living in the small towns and villages up in the mountains.

the problem is they're just dissolving back into the civilian population without anyone noticing and the one who do notice do not talk... The only way to fight them being to use intelligence services like the DST (french NSA) and offering rewards for intel about the mafia
I love seeing that the French special forces use AR-15 variants, Chevy Tahoes and Black Hawk Helicopters! M'erica .... eff yeaaaaaaaaah!

Wow... Now that's some next level patriotism

Well , america is known for manufacturing good weaponry

So it's pretty obvious that french SF won't only use french weapons.

But okay, you asked for it , find something american made in this stuff

FAMAS Assault rifle

Renault Acmat French SF Trucks

apc

French choppers

Oh yeah, I forgot, the Uranium from our nukes comes from Mali... but of course we can't use them against terrorists in corsica

FAMAS Assault rifle

The guy in the water in the top left corner, and the 3rd from the left on the top, are both using a Swiss assault rifle, with an American made holosight. As does the woman. Not to mention that the caliber in which the FAMAS is chambered for (5.56x45mm NATO) was designed and developed in America.

One of the soldiers below the top left guy is using an American firearm. It looks like a jacked up M16 I believe, with a 100 round Beta Mag (also American).

I may be mistaken, but I believe the guy on the jet ski is wearing Oakley goggles. Also American.

Alright , alright... you guys are everywhere, but if you wanna go into the details ..

Remember the Curiosity Rover that you guys so proudly landed on Mars recently, well , three of its 15 most critical instruments comes from the most high tech labs of the French Space Agency , Curiosity's "Eye" , the ChemCan was entirely developped in Toulouse, France , same goes for SAM, which allows the MSL to analyse samples of soil scooped up on the ground. And Curiosity's nuclear engine, was partly developed with french scientists from the company that builds pretty much all of france's nuclear reactors : Areva

But I think we went a bit off topic

Don't forget their most famous weapon, the Exocet Anti Ship missile.
