You can bet hes going to get A LOT of PMs from people wanting to use him as their guide :P

Honestly, I was just going to look for someone who looks like they arent doing anything, and strike up a conversation. Do that a few times, and voilà, free guide/new friend.

Just name the concert place and date and you'll see I'm already in queue waiting to get inside there !

Tho, I hope she won't do 42 concerts this time, because 42 * ~50 euros would mean death of my bank account !

( btw... why 42 ? Or well, why not... 42 is the obvious number really ! )

Why would you go to all of them? I don't get it.

Anyway, you complain about your ~50 euro ticket, and I'll complain of the ~1500 euro plane ticket (round trip).

Edit: Just did a search, it's actually about 1000 euros if booked 6 mo in advance

Why do I will go to all the concerts ? What kind of question is that.

And btw... round trip to Paris doesn't cost 1500 euros. Roundtrip from NYC to Paris cost at the best 300 euros (since I can get even non-stop flight from Helsinki to NYC at 350 euros) and from NYC to anywhere in US, only couple hundred.

I fogot who I was talking to, sorry :P

I looked it up and it costs about 980 euros for a round trip from here to paris.

Remember I'm in Toronto, not NYC, NYC has two massive international airports whereas Toronto has one fairly large international airport.

I would guess that the flight I was looking at (from expedia.ca - they had listings from many different carriers) isn't non-stop. It most likely is either from here to NYC -> Paris or from here -> Halifax (eastern edge of canada) -> Paris

I'd be totally up for it... if I could get the money for the trip. As a group we might even have some success grabbing some attention from French media covering the event (just the oddity of a large presence from an American-based fan group) and, hopefully, Alizee herself . We'd just have to come prepared with signs and the like. Even if we didn't, it would still be a blast meeting everyone in person.

Awesome! Too bad you don't live in France, yet.
