No you can't learn guitar from playing it. It is just a rythm beat video game basically like Dance Dance Revolution only with rock music and a guitar controller. Check this link to read about the game and it also has a picture of the guitar you use on there http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guitar_hero

OK, so I figured out the song; it was Celine Dion, "Pour que tu m'aimes encore", and Delta has an "iMix" on iTunes of its boarding music, so you can browse it yourself apparently.

It was kind of funny, I spoke briefly with a girl from Mexico in the boarding area, I asked her if she'd heard of Alizée, and she's like "the French singer...? Hm....they know about her in Mexico because, well, all the guys , and they play her in the clubs...." (I'm indicating that she kind of rolled her eyes vocally at that point). She also said she looked up some lyrics to some song of hers (she didn't remember which) and thought they were really dirty.

hi
alizée is popular in mexico because there's an important corsican community there, according that her fellowcitizens are not specially poor they're able to pay for her promotion
you probably know that corsicans who emigrated to porto rico, mexico or venezuela at the end of the 19th century didn't move there because they were poor
actually most of them were members of rich families who wanted to make more money overseas
they built big houses in corsica, some of them look like mexican haciendas and are classified as "historic monuments"
cheers

That's something I hadn't heard. To be honest I'm a bit skeptical that this is such a big factor but I could be swayed if I saw some evidence to that effect.
