I agree. The reason I fell for Alizée over all these other singers was she had something unique that I personally cannot find in any other singer. Maybe I'm not looking hard enough, but I would say she really doesn't compare to anyone else in the world.

Too bad Debbie Gibson ruined all her credibility by whoring herself out. She has great talent, but she showed her true colors...all that matters is a big payout for nudes. I really hope Alizee never does this.

Why did you always so puritan?Do you are scared by nudity? I don't know..probably it's why I'm from Italy..but if some of mine fav. italian singers get naked..I'd be proud about! I think, most of time, it's just a matter of finding the best way to do it, to get some of class and not a vulgar issue(not the Rhianna kind of, by the way), but I have definitive nothing against nudity of the performing artists like singers, actresses-actors,etc. A lot of classic dancers are almost naked (men and women) on stage and it is just a celebration of beauty, and about joy of life!

Debbie and Alizee have opposite problems. Debbie posed nude for playboy not really because of that big payout (although I'm sure it didn't really hurt), but, because she was trying to get out of that "squeky-clean teenager" look that she was known for. On the other hand, Alizee, as we all know, was trying to get out of that "Lolita" image that was created for her by MF as a teenager.

There's a difference between art and Playboy. Playboy is for women who will whore themselves out for money.

She's over 40, she's been past the teen image for quite a while now.

I know. What I meant was she said she did it to "revamp" her image.

Also, Alizee is already 27, married and has a six-year old daughter. And yet, many people still see her as a "Lolita" - just like what we saw during her last performance at La Acadamia.

I can agree Debbie Playboy pics were not so good.BUt just for an estetic reason.They would do a better work. But If you want to get naked(and have a big audience) where is the right place? Christian Science Monitor? I don't think you have so many choice..
I remember mi favourite athlete, Katarina Witt nude on European Playboy...that was a very fine B/W shoot..I don't think she sells out herself.

Using the excuse that they want a more edgy image is complete bull, they do it for money. Posing nude for a men's porn magazine has nothing to do with celebrating the beauty of life.
