(I prefer this melody in the piano version, but I can't for the life of my find it, you know what I'm talking about right?)

Did you watch the Jimmy Kimmel show after the finale? (a miserable failure, in my opinion)

The best part (the only redeeming part) was when the guy did that creepy ass RAAAAAAAAAA sound on the gong thing

Edit:

and btw you just can't handle cap'n crunch.

Oh man, I cried when I watched the finale. I didn't want the show to be over and done with after watching it for six years. And the music is just captivating.

I know. It's so simple but so beautiful.

I didn't catch the Jimmy Kimmel thing but I'll take your word for it

When I die, I want my funeral to take place in a bamboo forest and have that violin-song-that-sounds-better-in-piano playing in the background.

and I admit, I had an internal man cry during the finale... which was rudely interrupted by the thought of "WHY IS SHE WEARING DIFFERENT CLOTHES ALL OF A SUDDEN? SHE CHANGED FROM THE CAR TO THE CHURCH?"

man the Jimmy Kimmel show was embarrassing. Instead of good questions like "How do you all feel about the show and how it ended? Did you all think that's how it would end?" and such... but instead it was Jack leaning on a freaking oil drum (and quite obviously uncomfortable), Locke emptying sand from his shoes every couple of minutes, and shitty questions like "Who was the biggest jokester?"

<object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/5oX7aZ1alQ4?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/5oX7aZ1alQ4?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>

LOOK HOW UNCOMFORTABLE HE IS!!!!!!! SERIOUSLY I WOULD HAVE FOLDED MYSELF INTO A HUMAN LA-Z-BOY FOR JACK.

I like the sly product placement though.

TAKE THAT EVEN JACK HIMSELF BELIEVES THE ISLAND WAS REAL LIFE

I don't agree with the rest of that crap though.

<object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/NljJ2DvRjjs?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/NljJ2DvRjjs?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>

LOOK! Locke is just like "WTF is this?" and he couldn't find whatever he dropped.

<object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/uf7m3p_GlBM?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/uf7m3p_GlBM?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>

The guy posted the rest of the show, but I'll leave you to your own devices to find the rest

How many of those roles has she played? The only one I've seen of her playing a selfish character was in Priceless.

Happenstance
Hors de Prix
Baby Blues
Coco Avant Chanel
L'auberge Espagnole
Les Poupées Russes
He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not

Edit:

the movies I can think of where she's nice are

Un Long Dimanche des Fiançailles
Amélie
Dirty Pretty Things (whose dvd cover has absolutely nothing to do with the plot)

I haven't seen her other movies

I don't think He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not really counts.. I mean, she was more of a creeper anything. Right? She was CRAZY!

(Also, Hors de Prix is Pricless.)

Again, a selfish, evil bitch (solidified when she knocked out the guy and fucked him up for life... if that's not the ultimate bitchy move of selfishness I don't know what is)

(yes, yes it is)

Hahaa, yeah, that was a bit of a dick move.

I guess I'm just too used to her as Amelie that I can't really see her as an evil character. Sort of like how I can never see Famke Janssen playing a nice person. (Come to think of it.. I don't think she has.)
