This is great stuff. Thanks for posting! Yes, those were her glory years. It is nice to hear a story about how pleasant and trusting she was to her fans, even at the height of her fame.

This picture is a screen capture from the video of her trip to Japan. Here, a photographer had taken her picture then brought the camera over her to show her how it came out. Well I edited out the photographer's hand and the camera and it came out quite nicely. Well at least people on FB seemed to like it.
Zee Japan touch.jpg Here is a picture that I believed was an Alizee look alike contest which I believe took place in Mexico around the time of her tour. I think the second from the left looks to be the closest to looking like Alizee. JAM suit.jpg Last edited by Scruffydog777; 06-14-2018 at 10:58 AM.. |

Here's a video I put together. I got the music from a carnival I was at in Nice, France.

Thanks Rev. I got the music from when I was in Nice on vacation. The carnival there was going on for several days. I had been to it the night before. The next morning, I had just left my hotel and was heading for the train station to do a day trip up north when I heard this song playing. So the carnival area is separated by a fence so you have to pay to get into the carnival area. I had heard this song for the first time a few months before that and really enjoyed it. So when I heard it that morning, on the way to the train station, I stopped and stuck my camera in between the sections of the fence and caught a young Alizee protege.

A great interview I never get tired of watching. If anyone has an interview they'd like to see a translation of, let me know. I will look to see if it has been translated before. I will also look into whether it's worth translating. Many of her early interviews were just a rehash of other interviews where the same questions were asked each time, but if I see an interview that I think is worth translating, I will find a way to get it translated.

I quickly put together some of what I thought were 'moments' that have stood out to me over her career. I first have to mention that I left out her performances of J'en ai marre and Moi Lolita and Gourmandises too, which were great from begining to end. I think more so her performance of Moi Lolita in Amsterdam. She was only 16 at the time and she she showed such poise in front of this large crowd in another country. I think one of the reasons she did so well here was the crowd was into her and she feeds off the crowd.
But to get to my picks and theres so many more I could have added. The first five clips are where I thought her beauty stood out. The next 5 are moments where learned things about her personality and I think this is one of the reasons I've followed her so long. The next 4 are where her voice really impressed me. The next 2 are a couple of her dances I really enjoyed. The last is a very short moment but it was an incredibly sexy swaying of the hips.
