Most of us did yeah, some of my friends had hopes though. It could have changed the lack of popularity of the sport in the US.

The USA came so close but yet so far, I was eating in applebees when they lost, everyone was going crazy when they scored the goal to tie it... meh oh well... they did better than I expected so I am happy!

Im not to sure about that I think it will ether be 1-0 for germany or 2-1 for Germany. England though a favorite dont look that strong this year. Germany on other hand do, granted they only scored 1 goal against Ghana, and lost by 1 goal to Serbia. But in both of those games they had so many chances and shot hitting the crossbars, and posts. I honestly believe it will be eather Bazil or Spain, vs Germany in the Finals.

The USA game Bob Bradley should have stick with the formations he used against Algeria, it worked preaty well, and made the same mistake he did when USA played against England, that first goal they scored. Preaty much we played like crap and Ghana deserved that win. U can see they played positioning well, their passes were great, and the follow throught was percise.

I agree with Srbski Bradley should have stuck with the winning team. I don't know why he put in Clark. Can't say that Ghana didn't deserve to win. As people have said getting behind is awful way to start and there will be a team that will make you pay and Ghana was the team. I bummed out because this was an opportunity for team USA to get to the Semi-finals we had a descent bracket we didn't have to play powerhouse teams like Germany and think we will get a bracket like this in future World Cups. An opportunity lost.

As for tomorrows game a lot of people are saying that Germany is going to win. I am not too sure. I predict England will win by at least one goal. Yeah Germany is a powerhouse, the second best footballing country after Brazil, 3 World Cups, 7 World Cup finals, 3 European Championships but the thing is England's back line is tough to break down. That's why in the last 2 major tournaments England went out on penalties they are hard to score on. I don't think Germany can break down England's defense plus this is a very young German team, the second youngest in the tourney, they are not experienced as England.

I expect Argentina to go past Mexico it would be shock if they don't.
