Not only did I freak out for a second on facebook, but I also just freaked out again now seeing it again.
- this "hacking" bullshit. It's either you gave them your password or you didn't. The former I find completely retarded. - Apparently being woken up and told to go pick up your dad, but not realizing that you're actually awake until you're pulling up at the place. (seriously it weirded me out so much) - when a jackass child tries to tell you that a certain video doesn't exist when YOU DONE SEEN IT WITH YO OWN EYES - freaking teachers who don't let you look up aforementioned video on the utewbs in the middle of class (seriously, what kind of teacher does he think he is?) - The Russian porn spammers on mah paintball forum. "Oh what's this? a thread on a new barrel and- Oh lordy there's a naked woman shenaniganning four man-sized pterodactyls at the same time.... well thanks for getting my hopes up about the new barrel, russian douches"

These latest Adidas ads on the TV. They're nothing but awful noise pollution. Why? And who thought they were a good idea?

I haven't watched TV since Lost ended, man
Edit: Me: "Okay, worker guys, this locking mechanism has to be made of a fairly thin metal, but not too thin. It has to be thin enough so that I may have enough strength to bent it about an eighth of an inch with one finger, but not too thin that it would buckle if I put any stress on the blade. Also, drill holes *here* and *here*, so that if something happens to the chain or string I'm using to tie it to my finger, I can quickly and easily replace it." Worker guys: "okay" next day/today me: "wtf is this?" ^The lock had been bent at the wrong angle, about as thick as two nickels, and the chain welded on. Well, the chain broke off (which I now have to grind off the nubbin, or have them do it), and I can't even bend it with pliers, let alone my ring finger. Good going, colorado people.

I don't even know how to react to you having "worker guys" constructing weapons for you.

I manage a global empire of underground folks who aim to do things solely for teh lulz. I have men stationed on every continent, and in every major city. If I so wish it be, it is.
I could have a pizza made of blackberries and soap delivered in a shoebox to your doorstep by a naked saxophone trio in an hour.

Related to that :
-I tried to turn on my TV today and the cable box won't turn on because the adapter died. Evidently if you keep the box turned off, the plug keeps running a circuit and it eventually burns out. Lesson : unplug things that you don't use.

A switched off box keeps a circuit? Troll physics or typo?

I'm guessing that's what happened. It was plugged in but I hadn't turned it on in ages. When I tried to turn it on and it didn't work, I felt the plug and it was hot.
It must have been faulty in some way. A normal plug shouldn't get hot when it's not in use… right?

Dunno mate. I don't really going around feeling the power cords of seldom-used appliances. I know my space heater has been plugged in and running at full power for a few months now, and that one is quite hot.
