Are you ready for someeeeee funky timeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

As for me day, I enjoyed my day off, or days off! Since I am a seasonal worker at Kmart (Sears corp is the only company willing to hire part time in this economy) they might not call me back since I am leaving them in a week or so anyway to go back to school.

that's the main reason im still at the theater.. it's the only place that allows a "leave of absence" without firing me.

it sucks, but brings in some dough.

They liked me a lot, they allowed me to take my vacation ( I had to give them two weeks notice though, if I didn't it would be job abandonment). At first they were like "we like you but after your vacation it doesn't pay to keep you since your going back to college soon, but we will let you off on a good note still allowing you to work with the company." Then the next day the manager just said "we want you back after your vacation."

Unfortunately now they are cutting everyone's schedules so mine might have been cut too so I don't know if they are going to schedule me some more or not. I only worked two days since coming back from my vacation. Also I haven't worked in my department since coming back (hardware and automotive) they had me covering other departments such as pantry and toys/sporting goods. So that's not a good sign if they don't need me in my regular department.

Finally got my Hi-Fi sorted (thanks Lefty).
Went to the football, another stunning victory for my team.

Read through the fake emails from the dating site. I did receive a classic email yesterday from a Pole who wanted me to 'sponser' her to be an 'escort'...hmmm.
Started building a type V11C U-Boat model kit.
Cleaned out the Degu cage. Only one of them escaped today. They can move really really fast when they want to!

Played a rugby 10s tournament today, my RFC's 2nd action ever. We showed well in our first game, scoring early and piling it on to beat our first opponent 32-12. Unfortunately I didn't find the score sheet, as they defended well out wide and our big men are very dangerous with the ball so they keep it inside, and I had to come out early in the 2nd half as I hadn't recovered from a head knock I received in the 1st minute, which also kept me out of the 2nd game.

Our 2nd game didn't go quite as well. We played against a faster, more fit, and overall more experienced team who was more rested than us, as we just finished the 1st match. We had 5 older veterans of the game (including a former USA u-23 player) but the rest of us had barely played. We borrowed some players from the other teams to fill in as subs. As mentioned, the head knock kept me out of this game, though I probably could have come in as a 2nd half sub if one of our guys wanted out. I don't think we found the try line all game, and got pretty well run over in the 1st half, but only gave up one try in the 2nd half.

To end the day, the 3 teams remaining (the team we played in our first game dissipated afterwards) formed into some 15 sided teams and played 2 20 minute halves. I played at fullback for the first half, and though it was pretty quiet on the kicking front I managed to get involved in the match, making one last ditch tackle, missing another against a freight train of a man that everyone was still impressed that I sacrificed my body for, and forcing a turnover or two. Due to two of my club's forwards playing forward for our side we dominated lineouts and scrums, winning all of ours and stealing a few of theirs, and won that half pretty handily, though I didn't keep track of the score, and I came out at halftime so some other guys could get some game time.

All in all a fun game, met some new guys and our club set up a few more fixtures for the coming season. Learned a lot about playing fullback, and got out of it with a pretty sweet scar on my temple.

Hi guys!
I've been offline for a while, not that long so you can actually give a shit about me, but enough. Today I begin the 1st day of my second Summer trip.

My current travel plans.
August 19 - August 25 = Seoul, South Korea
August 25 - August 30 = Anchorage, Alaska

It's been a tiring flight, and my back hurts like a bitch, but i'm all comfy now, so i'll be joining you tomorrow night. (That's today for you guys )
