This is what happens when you spend too much time in the sun. I was down in the Bahamas scuba diving back in 1987 and was shocked at how old the guys running the boat looked. They were all in their early thirties to maybe forty and they all looked at least ten years older than their real age. When I went to my ten year HS reunion I couldn't believe how some of the hot girls in school had aged. They all had the same constantly tanned look and looked like they were in their mid thirties not 27-28 years of age.

Yes. The sun turns your skin to leather over time. And, especially (but not only) if you are prone to burining, the incidence of skin cancer goes way up.
I used to cook the tops of my ears when out sailboat racing for years (my hat didn't cover my ears). So far, I have had to have some skin at 2 spots removed. So, take the warnings seriously.

I remember her having glasses on and off since she was little, I'm wondering if these glasses will be perminant this time? They fit her well, they look good.
