Well, the pain can vary on how many different colors there will be in the tattoo, how detailed the tattoo will be, and a major factor is the size. The thing you should always keep in mind about a tattoo is that the more work the artist puts into the tattoo the more pain there will be.
The pain isn't that bad though, it's like a pulsing bee sting so you shouldn't worry.
Sometimes after a while you don't even feel the pain anymore so you should be fine.

O I almost forgot this thing isn'n temporary this tattoo is for life, before you get this tattoo I suggest you think this over really well and maybe discuss with some friends, see how they feel.

This forum has its share of extremes, so I think "egregious" is an appropriate word around here fairly frequently .

I'm not really a tattoo person, or a tattooed person for that matter, but there's only one thing I'd ever get if I had the nerve to do it. So, for me it wouldn't be about getting a tattoo just to have one, but you know, expression for something I already like and all that. I guess my only advice to you, like others here, is to make sure it's something you could really see yourself being ok with in the future, and that yes, it'll most likely hurt.

I say go for it, Alizée is special enough for a tattoo as long as you think of her it puts a smile on your face, every time you think of it you be reminded of someone who's brought happiness to your life.
