A cute love story....

I believe that everything in life (From a real life incident, to a short story about love) contains a moral. I choose to view life as a constant lesson, a challenge to help to better yourself.
As for the story, I thought it was interesting. It raises a very large multitude of fascinating questions. However, as I have no wish to get into an argument, I'll keep from going off on tangents.
Anyways, here is my opinion: It seemed to me to be very to the point, very simple, and not completely focused. Don't get me wrong, that is a compliment! To be able to write a story that is so short, yet that leaves you contemplating many things, is very difficult. But to me it seemed lacking. I felt that it was missing the 'meat on the bones' in a way. It's undoubtedly personal preference however, so don't be too annoyed with me.
This thread has raised many interesting points, philosophically, and theologically. However, I find that when views, such as the ones on this thread, are so different(especially when it comes to philosophical and theological differences) simple discussions tend to erupt in to rather heated arguments.
Well that's my take on your story and the events in this thread. Please don't bash me over the head...

Listen, I have no intentions of making it a habit of arguing with you or anyone else, here or anywhere else. I think it's ok to disagree (it's interesting to see different points of view), and I agree it's not cool to insult each other. That said, maybe we shouldn't try to rephrase each others quotes. I'll admit I've been a little too sensitive lately, I'm really trying not to (even though it doesn't show). I've recently broken up with my girl, and I'm a little upset right now (trying not to).......

the best thing is to drop it and move on when things get silly, and let everyone be entitled to their opinions. respect each other's choices and be more tolerant of others who have different views on things.
