Remember the whole, "Hey Mister DJ" on Star Academy? Her accent is priceless; I can't get enough of it. Its even the ringer on my cellular.

I was so moved, I took a snapshot of Alizée's voice spectrum during the moi vibrato:

Fourier would be proud. French too!

Cool. I wonder what kind of resolution would be required in order for a visual representation of a voice would need to be to make it uniquely identifiable to a person, Alizée for example...

Not so much resolution as the computing power necessary to create a unique voice fingerprint that will be unique yet consistent for any voice sample.

Even so, the resolution necessary is likely beyond anything that digital can even attain in theory. Maybe once quantum computing becomes mainstream

If you sample at about 40 KHz you can pretty much capture all the frequency content of the instantaneous voice print. Sample over a time interval and you will capture that voice print over an enunciation period. Given an inventory of existing samples already recorded, it is not difficult to process a voice match unique to an individual.

It's not exactly my favorite, it's just her accent is so when she sings this...

Amélie has gold for every soul
Amélie was told to be my angel
Amélie has melted every stone
Loving Amélie, coming from heaven
