And that's a change, till I'm finally left with an eight
Tell me to react, I just stare
Maybe I don't know if I should change
A feeling that we share...
It's a shame

Number me with rage, it's a shame

Number me in haste, it's a shame
This eagerness to change

I tried to stay up, but I only had 3 hours of sleep from night before, so I was going on...like...48 hours with only 3 hours sleep. So I crashed at midnight, woke up to my Alarm clock at 220 AM....and made the show

Then I crashed again at 330, got up at 615 and went to work. Got home, did some chores...and finally hit the sack at about 1130PM. Almost 72 hours and only 3, 2, and 3 hours sleep. I got 7 last night....whew...and plan on a big crash this weekend.

It was wonderful experience. Brad made it so convenient with the webcam and audio link on the home page. It was eerily quiet on the boards, then I noticed the chat link. Logged on and what a zoo! The crowd was insane with anticipation, everyone about ready to explode, it was great . When she entered the studio my heart skipped and my eyes got blurry (there must have been something in them).

She still sounds as sweet and she may be more beautiful - I don't know how . To see her "live" for the first time - words cannot express what she means to me and the debt I owe Alizée - if only I could express my gratitude to her.

Thank you Brad and all of you for giving me a place to gush, sorry.

I like being able to experience all this in real time instead of having to experience it after it happened. I am not complaing though, because experiencing Lili even while she was on break was amazing.

Honestly, I don't know why people doubted she would come back. She's been telling us for over a year now that a new album was in the works. What reason was there not to believe it?

Sometimes I think the Wizard's First Rule is true: People believe things not because of the evidence, but because it's either what they want to be true, or what they fear might be.

well I guess 3 years is a long time and she had a kid so I guess most people assumed she gave up on her career to raise her daughter

I'm not sure where the "Wizard" part of that rule comes from, but that's a fairly solid rule of thumb for life. People, on the whole, don't want to deal with reality. They want to deal with their version of it.
