I never said you were not allowed to discuss. I said it was silly to justify bad relationship between people of two different countries by what the governments of these countries did.

I meant in general around the public, outside the forums. Basically to a political base forum. Here it is all about Alizée. Here isn't the place to discuss. There are many people with many different views and it will turn to chaos in a second if the certain discussion is kept running.

There has to be something more to Alizée not wanting to come to our country because there are too many sharks here. What difference does it make how many sharks there are here. When she's done with her tour here, she goes home. No more sharks. There's got to be something more to it than that. Why would she come here to get married but not want to perform here?

That is what I ponder about. She has been here for marriage, she doesn't hate America. What is wrong then? I still stick with the not to many fans here, but thats why I said start small.

I think she would be received by a great welcome here. Anybody i show videos of her (even the anti-frenchies) say "I don't care if she's French, she's hot!" and "She's so hot, she could turn freedom fries back into french fries!" Nevermind that her being french wouldn't even matter to the 70% of the country that doesn't support the president or war and have no hard feelings towards France.

Why is it for some of you Americans so freakin' hard to understand that it is
not (economical) interesting for her to go there for even a small concert?

Let's face it:
There is a handful of (loyal) fans in a country bigger than Western Europe.
Does she do a concert in Belgium, Germany, Italy, Holland?
And in all these (seperate) countries she will have more potential people to go
to concerts than the USA together.
Are you willing to go to even 1 concert given? No. 90% will not because of travelling distance.

Even going there for promotional stuff won't work. There is just no market for it, as bad is it may sound.
Canada might work, I just don't know.

It was a bloody miracle for her to set foot between the door in the U.K years
ago, and that was only because she had a humongous hit, that the Brits just couldn't deny.

There are 10ths of countries with just as much or even more fans (and buying public) than the USA.
But you simply can't visit them all, unless you have all over sudden succes for one reason.
(Mexico like now for instance and Russia, Japan, Korea to name a few in the past.)

This may sound bitter but just take it as a fact.
Let her first be successful in La France again, her core market.

Oh and please, leave all this political stuff out. It has nothing to do with it.
