Hypothetical question; Who do you save?

Meh, it's harder than that actually. What if that family member of yours has been a real dick to you your entire life (think... Matilda the movie...) or (s)he's done real bad things like steal, kill or something. Then on the other hand, the other person is a model citizen with a family of their own ie. Alizée. If this were the case, I'd easily pick Alizée.

Edit: Hitler's brother (provided he's nothing like Adolf) is in that room. Hitler or Alizée :O (just had to get my point through more clearly)

My case is simply based on regret. It's difficult because if you make one decision, you might regret not making the other. This question isn't merely based on how big a fanboy you are or just because your genetics are more closely related to the other. You don't want to go making a decision so hastily just because of the first thing that comes to mind "But they're family" or "But it's Alizée!". Some people have really tight, loving family. Some don't. For some, Alizée brings happiness whilst for others, she doesn't. Same with the family. Some families are happy. Some aren't. Each case is personal and based purely on what they've been through in terms of life experience.

Just to get my point through, for me: I had a girlfriend who I thought I'd give up my life for. Nowadays, I wouldn't give anything for her... If I had to choose her or Alizée back then, it would have been her without a doubt. Now, Alizée without a doubt.

I'm probably looking way too much into this, but that's the way I see it - and I see it this way because of experience. (Not in the sense of someone on the verge of shooting my loved ones in the face, but in regret)

I rather save someone of my family that has shared great moments,who was and is there in the dark moments with me, someone i can really trust,someone who has protected me for almost all my life, Than Alizee, and im sure she would save someone of her family if she had to choose her family or one of us, or even madonna.
