That's where she goes when she have to meet the staff of Polydor, her music production.( Polydor is a company of Universal Music France)

But she certainly have to go to Stuffed Monkey, the production company of Mylène. ( my next target!

For those of us who have never seen Alizée in person, it just helps provide some mental context for her. Seeing places she worked is one tiny step in the direction of understanding her music. Remember, the vast majority of us have never been to France, much less that particular location, so we don't have a good mental image.

I myself am a great believer in one's space affecting one's artistic output. My mother wrote an entire book on the influence of places on music, and my own training in theatre teaches me to look to the space I occupy for influence and information on how to perform. Seeing one of Alizée's spaces is great!

Indeed. Anyway, I like the idea of this thread. More interesting Alizée locations please, like those restaurants. That's really cool to get a better feeling of what her world is like. If you see someone's house, their work site, the streets and businesses they walk by every day, that must give you a better idea of how they feel. I'd like to visit

Wow. You really have to be a people person to live in Paris, I think. It's like New York--all buildings. I can see why Lili did not want to move from Ajaccio by the sea. I used to live in Monterey by the sea. Actually I also lived right next to that in Pacific Grove for a while as well. I could walk down to the ocean in 5 minutes. I really liked that, but there are nice things about where I live now too.

By the way, I did just see several parts of Paris in the movie "Paris, je t'aime". Some of the streets looked just like Dan's picture (with Rue Clotaire). This street looks more friendly than I'd expect from a similar part of New York, though. Though, I've never been there either. Anyway, that was a pretty good movie--lots of funny parts. They have at least one panoramic scene in the movie, but I kinda like RMJ's pictures better. It appears they were taken from a helicopter with high speed film. It's strange what with the weird shapes and directions of the streets, the buildings just follow and you end up with these buildings with sharp points at one or more corners. The others are really good too.

One more set ( for those who find some interest in it!).

This is 4 rue de la Paix, "Stuffed Monkey" adress, where Mylène Farmer work every project she got. No doubt Alizée have been there.

its' a big estate, with a lot of company.Dispite the fact that "Stuffed monkey" don't appears on the board, its must be there. Another sign of the discretion of Mylène...


From the entrance, you can see the Vendome colomn, on the Vendome square.


This place is famous for the jewellery shops and the Ritz.
