Thank you Matrix you OFFICIALLY PISSED ME OFF.

Think of the female performers in the US. Who does she not outshine? Madonna is an artist. But ashlee simpson, christina aguilera, britney are really lame. Pink and gwen stefani are real artist but not better than alizee. I seriously objectively think as music goes shes better. Jewel is an artist but of a diff genre.

Matrix probably just has intensely mixed feelings. Like those want to literally strangle their partners one day, get engaged the next, and then break up the next day. This sort of thing can happen to fans too, right?

Matrix needs to be turned over someone's knee and spanked, that's all.

Not Alizée's, either. He'd enjoy that too much. Some big, fat, muscly bruiser would be ideal.

To make things even crazier, he also posted a very positive comment about Psychédélices ver recently as well. Now, it's understandable that somebody would be happy with the music but not the performances, but not this much. He goes to say in a different comment that because of the recent performances, he deleted his 30 gigabytes of Alizée videos!
But he doesn't have to make a video of his words criticizing Alizée. He went to the extreme and has turned. Making that video made me angry. I took up my spot in defending Alizée. He claimed to got an E-Mail from Alizée Officiel saying they don't like the movie. Do I believe it? NO.

Exactly and with her beautiful voice talking through microphones I am sure people will say..."channel 4 there is a good singer on." I sensed that." Alizée can do that. Mind powers.

When I went to one of my first concerts, Judas priest? Ted Nugent? Billy Squire? I forget but nonetheless I remeber thinking hey this doesnt sound the same as the album I listen to. So maybe this kid is like 12 and he thinks that live sounds the same as studio. Which it doesnt. ALLL artists, Stones, Beatles, Led Zepplin, Rammstein sound diff live than they do on their album. So maybe hes thinking cuz its diff its bad or out of the norm. In the end hes wrong either way.

peace.

Well, I have to admit the first half of the movie was pretty hilarious, but then it started going overboard...
I've never been a huge fan of Alizée's live performances, mostly because of her dancing. But recently her live performances have been frankly, horrendous. I would have to agree with Matrix, that if she doesn't increase the quality in her on-stage appearances she should stop giving them.
The most awful thing in your movie Matrix was the one thing you said: 'Jeremy has ruined you'. Maybe that is so, but if being married to him makes her happy then no person has the right to tell her otherwise, especially not based on stage performance.
Please let's not turn Alizée's relationship into another Tom&Katie mess. It is cruel to the married couple, and completely uncalled for.
Just my two cents.

Totally agree Speedshift - I like her (what i've seen), I love her voice, but I'm not really a fan of the new live performances..... BUT PLEASE, leave Jeremey out of it.... said before, say it again - she married the man she loves. The rest of their relationship is none of our business.

I just hope A & J & "little a" are happy and contented in thier lives.

And besides, it's total BS. As far as her musical career is concerned, the only thing he's done is to write some kick-ass songs for her. That doesn't fit my definition of "ruin."

It couldn't be more clear who's in charge of deciding what kind of music she'll sing, what kind of videos she'll produce, and what kind of performances she'll do. The credit and the blame both go to Alizée, and nobody else.

Edit: This totally erroneous assumption that he's in charge really bothers me. The only possible justification for it in people's minds is the fact that he's male. It made a kind of sense to assume Mylène was in charge in the old days, because she's so much older and more experienced, but the J-man is actually younger than Alizée (by a couple of months) and LESS experienced in the music business!

It's a thoroughly sexist reflex and, frankly, disgusting.

I agree with everything you said Deepwaters, but I would also add that much of what happens in the music business goes beyond the credit and blame of the artist. The music buying public can turn their noses up at a well made album, or wrap their arms around a pile of crap. It's too bad that you can do everything right and still fail in this business, having your career at least partly depend on the whims of a fickle public.

Edit: I think Jérémy did a great job on her album.

I second the agreement of Deepwaters. And I agree with you Lefty, Jérémy did a fabulous job on the album. I love the album and will continue to love it weather Alizée's performances are good or bad. Even though they are all good.
