This episode is retell in Les Misérables of Victor Hugo...
And that's what I get for jumping to conclusions.

Here is a Wikipedia article on the July Revolution (trois glorieuses): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/July_Revolution

France has had a number of revolutions, including the original one of 1789, this one in 1830, another in 1848, and then the overthrow of Napoleon III after the Franco-Prussian War of 1870, leading to the Third (and first lasting) Republic.

I still have my doubts that buxom bare-bosomed babes led the people to triumph in 1830, but what do I know?

Take a look here: "Politically, Portman is a supporter of the Democrats, and in the 2004 presidential race she campaigned for Democratic nominee, Senator John Kerry. In the 2008 presidential election, Portman supported Senator Hillary Clinton of New York in the Democratic primaries. She later campaigned for eventual Democratic nominee, Senator Barack Obama of Illinois, during the general election.[74] However, in a 2008 interview, she also says: "I even like John McCain. I disagree with his war stance — which is a really big deal — but I think he's a very moral person."[75]"

She is also for animal rights. In 2010 she won an award for being active in many of her rallies.

And she's an awesome actress and she's cool, and I love her, second to Alizée, of course .

My question: Is Alizée involved in any such thing? I just want to bring up the thought of her becoming more politically active. It could really help her, even if she's doing just fine.
I really doubt that Alizée will ever be that politically active. In her interviews she has said that since she's a celebrity, she likes to keep her views to herself. I think she said this during the Psychedelices interview in Mexico. I mean heck, I don't think she's even ever come out with which political view she supports.

But you can usually tell in how a person acts and what choices they make...

Tell me of one political choice that Alizée has made that has been made public that indicates as to what her political views are.

(Seriously, if you know one. Because I really don't.)

Obviously the word "political" means that topic itself is political.
