Probably not a very good translation when it's MF who wrote the lyrics but with this, does it look like something that would make her sad? We have to consider too that Mylene got the ideas for "some" of the songs she wrote from things Alizée told her. Could that be the case here of maybe it was just the angle of the shot that made her look sad?

Back in 2006, garçoncanadien who was a med student from Canada, posted this "analysis" of the song:

"Alizée asks herself 'To what good…' secretive love, love, Bohemian way of life. She wants grandeur, and that her greatest dreams come true. Mylène therefore compares this grandeur to that of an elephant.

“Round stomach”, one of Alizée’s wishes is to give life. “Deep eyes”, metaphor of uncertainty, there is no depth in her eyes therefore no future, nor projects to realize, all the things that make adolescence one of the worst times to get through. Even Alizée’s bear puts in a suggestion, to not get involved in adult life, as for her she has a hard time admitting it, but this bear is faithful for life in friendship."

So it definitely has a sad tone to it. Again I'd like to know if Mylene got the idea for this song from things Alizée told her?

Here's another time when I thought she looked sad. It was after she had surprised Julia on Stars a Domicile and she was leaving. I think seeing all those kids partying and having a good time made her miss her friends.
