Talking Hiyall!

Tiwaz - Yes! Or probably best, simply "Dear Alizée"... Any objections?

Deepwaters - Good point. Very good. Consider it done!

Roman - Yes, this was checked by a French person.

Fallo, Wasabi, Jalen! Hey guys! As you may now realize, I pm'd everybody on the members list who's been around here since October. To give everybody a final heads-up about the sig's, and a fair last chance. I'm still a bit tired. But in a couple more days, we're done! Deadline for sigs now set at next Thursday, the 12th. Then, countdown! Et puis, Décollage!

No, at her own insistence. In an interview, she was asked whether she should be called "madame" or "mademoiselle." She said Mademoiselle, and pointed out that under French law she is single, since they were married in the U.S. not in France and France doesn't recognize American marriages. Note that her Twitter log-in is mellealizée.

But "Dear Alizée" is still probably best, avoiding all such complications.

Appropriate, but I'm not sure she would take us seriously if we put that on there lol

By "one of the last" updates at the top of this post, I meant that it seems there's only a few days left 'til we're ready to send this! And only a last few days to submit a signature...

(Fall06, I don't know where else we can add anything at this point. Wasabi, Criss, thanx agan. Jalen, cue the Supremes: "Baby, baby, where did our wubs go?")
I love this letter you're about send, Chuck! If I'd known about this sooner, I'd have thrown in this suggestion (if you had the room, that is):

You know how Trent Reznor allows his fans access to all of the multitrack files of every one of his singles since "The Hand That Feeds" and other selections from his body of work as Nine Inch Nails so that, in turn, his fans can make their own mixes and upload them onto a special section of the NIN website, and to use them for however and wherever they see fit (podcasts, for example), so long as they offer the same permissions Reznor gave in the first place?

It would be very cool if, from this point forward, Alizée did the exact same thing for her fans.

I can't to see how this goes. Bon courage ! xoxoxo

One can get a couple of Alizée's songs with just the music or just the vocals. I think that was the unvoiced intent of making those tracks available - do some Alizée remixes of your own. As far as I know, in the past many have been done. Some have been done of Mademoiselle Juliette and Fifty-Sixty. Yes, I realize it's nothing close to making everything available and open. (open source music?)

By the way, I think you might be the only person who has ever done something like that on this site and say what one might about this particular project, that kind of attempt to get participation is probably what was needed since 2006 (year this site was founded).

Default General BS...

Hyrus, I got it, and I'd say it looks pretty sharp, too. It'll do very nicely!

Roman, thanks. Again. Pah. Anyway, it's been working, just got five or so more sigs today already. And the more, the merrier!

Lady C X!!! Thanks! Loved the mp3. You're sending a sig, too, right? (Please?)

ONE MORE TIME, HERE'S THE INFO.

BUT THIS TIME, IF I DON'T HAVE YOUR SIGNATURE BY THIS THURSDAY, SORRY!

"SIGNATURE" INSTRUCTIONS

To submit your signature:
1) write your signature, on paper or on a computer (even MSPaint will do) ;
2) save it as an image file: jpg, bmp gif, tif, psd, ppk... (use scanner or digital camera if nec.);
3) send that file in!

-> For everyone's peace of mind (and per Lefty's excellent advice), we're recommending you take advantage of a third-party hosting site to get those files to me. If you're already signed up with such a site, you can maybe use them. Otherwise, go to rapidshare.com or megaupload.com and follow the simple instructions. WHICHEVER SITE you choose, they'll give you an access code, which you can then pass along to me (Chuck) in a PM.

-> Or you can post your sig file on this site (then message me so I know where to look)

->Or you can still, like, use old-fashioned e-mail to me at bongovideo@tds.net .
