The Punisher: War Zone

It was pure gory extermination action film and I loved it.

And I was completely blown away by it.
Gorgeous scenery, a beautiful story, and the french was pretty slow sow I understood alot of it. xD

Not to knock a movie you obviously enjoyed, Bud, or your enjoyment of it, but...ugh.

I don't mean to be a Scrooge, but you don't understand the sheer hatred I have for that song. ("Christmas Shoes", I mean, the one the movie was based on.). Normally I'm a sentimentalist, especially at this time of year, but that song is so cloying and unabashedly emotionally manipulative, I would sign a petition to have the lyricist responsible for it dragged out into the street and shot. I quite literally get angry every time I hear it. (Or even hear it brought up out of context, obviously.)

What makes me even angrier is the number of people who absolutely adore that song. (i.e. Enough that they made a freakin' movie about it.) Every time it comes up, I just want to shake people and yell "Don't buy into this! They're patronizing you!"

Seriously. The only other song to get me this angry is 'Mambo Number Five'. (And possibly 'Who Let The Dogs Out?')

Grr.

Anyway, this concludes my rather Grinch-y little rant. We now return you to your regularly scheduled thread, already in progress. I'ma sit over here and wait for the first of them three ghosts to swing by...
