Also, I don't think the perfectly shaped Cleopatra type hair suits her as well as the myriad of other styles she has had. She recently asked on IG whether she should cut her hair and I think I was the only one that said Yes. Not much, just a little bit.

I completely agree with the makeup comments. I think that dark, very bright or red lipstick tends to age women. Heavy face makeup can give even the most beautiful woman a sort of hardness to her look, even if she is still
youthful enough to have smooth skin.
As women get older and their skin develops fine lines, heavy makeup can emphasize lines and wrinkles. I am not a big fan of face makeup at all for most women, unless they need a very light covering for an uneven complexion.
I believe that most women look more attractive with pale pink or peachy colored lipsticks. In Alizée’s case, with her very nice complexion and coloring, less is definitely more.
Unfortunately, often it seems that even women with the most natural beauty and best skin/coloring/facial contours still feel like they need to use a lot of makeup. I think it is often a sign that they have a true lack of ego—they honestly don’t realize how lovely they really are, and they feel that they should listen to all the constant ads directed at women about how to look their best. I can imagine this is especially true of women in the public eye.
I do think that the severely cut “Cleopatra” hair is not the most flattering to Alizée and does age her. I like the softer, feathered type of hairstyle for her.
In my opinion, Alizée is naturally extremely beautiful. This is due to a combination of her features and her skin.
As she gets older, I hope she will resist the inclination to use more and more makeup. I think she is someone who could age very gracefully, due to her
intrinsic beauty.
