A lot of the movies that have wound up on people's 'ten best' lists this year (Wall*E, Tropic Thunder, Slumdog Millionaire), I actually haven't seen yet...but here's my picks:

1. The Dark Knight
2. Iron Man
3. Zack & Miri Make A Porno
4. Role Models
5. Hancock

...with an honorary mention going to Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist.

Clearly, I'm all about the superheroes and dick & fart jokes...though oddly, the one movie that combined the two (Superhero Movie) was probably the worst I saw all year.
Let's make a LAIRE army called "Kiss my Anthia"

Dude, that whole last reel of that movie was epic. I cheered so hard when they got out of the Minotaur truck and did that slo-mo walk towards the camera. Everyone involved with that movie gets a gold star for making LARPing look both ridiculous and badass at the same time.

That little kid as Gene Simmons was epic.
As soon as the camera looked down at him, everyone in the theater just roared with laughter. Heck even I couldn't contain myself. xD

I finally decided to watch this movie after you guys mentioned it and after it got all those Oscars. I was wondering what the fuss is all about and I must say it's a stunning piece of work. It deserves every 8 of the Oscars it got. I don't think I have watched a movie like this one in a long time.

If anyone was interested in the movie that was released...I Love You Man. It was a funny movie and definitely worth the money. I enjoyed the whole movie.

D.E.B.S.
A lesbian lovestory with a hot secret agent-schoolgil (Sara Foster) and an even more beautiful supervillainess (Jordana Brewster). I usually don't like romantic movies but this one is okej so I give it 9 of 10

"Recruited by the U.S. government for their unique ability to lie, cheat and fight, Amy, Max, Janet and Dominique join an underground academy of secret agents known only as D.E.B.S. These crime fighting hotties set out to save the world and keep their lipstick perfectly applied while doing so. Now the girls must combine their skills for their most important mission- to capture vexing vixen Lucy Diamond, the deadliest criminal the world has ever known. When D.E.B.S. star player, Amy, falls for Lucy, chaos erupts and the D.E.B.S. loyalty is put to the test."

It even have a 80ies song montage

Yeah, just got back...hilarious . Paul Rudd and Jason Segel should be comedy staples for the next decade or so. The awkwardness generated by some of the dialogue made me cringe and then burst out laughing.

Yeah, saw this last night and it was really good. The whole cast is terrific-- Andy Samberg, J.K. Simmons, Jon Favreau, Jane Curtain, Jaime Pressly--but Rudd and Segel are hilarious together, and totally make the movie. It's a really nice send-up on the whole rom-com genre.

Oh, and Rashida Jones, who plays Rudd's fiancé? Om nom nom.
