Actually, I think your pricing of it may be pretty close, but the specs are like: 2k x 4k res, or 4X the resolution of 1080p; in other words, 2160 x 4096 pixel count:

I know it is 4k resolution, but I was trying to say that you need a bigger viewing distance. Otherwise you are just watching a cluster of a couple of hundred pixels in a "normal" livingroom.
It will be like watching a giant poster on the coffee table

All besides of this, there is no content to show on this crazy thing except for Digital Intermediats for cinemaprints...
(wich are more often in 2k than 4k btw) All of the rest is upscaled sh$t.

Hmm, 100 thousand is ALOT of money. I would rather buy a Ferrari or a really nice truck with that much money.
