Do you wonder why USA has the label fat country? It is the image that concludes out of majority of people. The pollution is the same, it's your cars that consume a lot and you not rey very hard to make them more economic like europeans and japanese do. This is also a known problem so I was not talking nonsense, it's another issue that you may think my posts are not nice.
BTW what country are you from?

mihail, stop before you dig yourself in too deeply. What you're saying is no different than what you accuse Americans of doing, and its quite insulting. People are stupid, the same is true of every country on every continent, including yours, and it is very rude of you to lump every American in the same basic category.

She was a teen pop star, you know. Her 18th birthday concert was in 1994. Where did you find the vinyl/cassette BTW?

MihaiL, absolutely nothing personal, but statements like that will cause Americans to dislike you far more than the way Europeans dislike Americans. Regardless, this forum doesn't take these jabs well, and I'll ask you to try and stay away from making them.

Please, this is not the theme, Isn't good mix policy here. I am Spanish and European and there are many things in US that results very atractive for me, others not. But I supose that the Americans think the same of European people.

I agree with everything you have said. I would love to go to France again, back to England, where my ancestors are from, but if people keep thinking this way, it will never be.

If we leave politics aside, the two reasons above are why europeans don't like USA.
Well if thats what you think then maybe it's YOUR Media and Governement filtering what you see, not the U.S. All I see are people, big and small. Better not list your country or we may start listing stereotypes from where you are from.

Fish, I was not making a lump of everyone, if people are not stupid they will not make that conclusion, yes touching a fragile problem was not a safe thing to do, but wth I was responding the question as to how I see it. I doubt you can find a man to respect USA for these things, I am awake that's why I said this, unconscious people should not bother, I've seen hypocricy and it's better to shock people with truth than be hypocritical. The question was about why to not like USA, and not what are the best parts of it. If anything the very topic is unsettling.
