I just heard it (when she "offers" Japanese stuff to Lucas?) and I can't hear a special "s" there

Alizee could be alien, we'd still think she has an accent. Accent or not, I absolutely love it!

anyway guys, aFrenchie has pronounced to me in a PM that Alizée does not have an accent. Let his word be spoken on high |

In the interviews, Alizée speaks wonderfully clearly, though she does seem different to me than other French speakers (usually the words elided differently). I used to think she had a very heavy shift in how she spoke, but as I've gotten more back in to hearing French, I have fewer and fewer issues with hers, and more with others. What I like though is how she sounds when she's just chatting, which is a whole 'nother voice to my ear than we usually hear. There's a "backstage" moment on the 2002 Enfoirés DVD where she's answering a question another performer asked her as she went past (I believe it's her advice on his choice of hat), which is one of my favorites. I honestly don't believe I would recognize the voice when compared to her interviews.
