Making sigs for someone else is one of the deepest signs of friendship. It's flattering when you get to show off someone else's beautiful artwork that they invested so much of themselves into. Like the one mibir made for me:

If someone wants to use them then I guess it shows something about that person, too. Like I said, signature is personal. If someone likes your signature so much that wants to use it no matter what then sure why not, it's obviously for him then and shows his likings. But I still think it's much more personal when you make your own sig. |

I agree that sigs should be personal. But you can also view this similar to the art world where you ask your favorite artist (if you can afford the commission) or artist friend to do a painting for you.
It's a win-win for both parties. You get a magnificent piece to display and they get the enjoyment of creating one for you. Just like here. But hey, to each their own... (BTW, I'll post my MS Paint sig on the other thread.)

well if ur using photoshop open up the pic u want in photoshop, use the marquee tool (i think that's what it is, the thing with the doted line in a square) and ctrl-c it then go to ur sig and ctrl v. It should make it's own layer. If not ctrl-shift-n to get a new layer.
