![]() I love her music, I listen to it all the time, but I also love the music of Genesis but belong to no forums. Alizée is VERY beautiful to me, but I honstly do not have sexual thoughts about her, ever. Would I say no if she wanted to be my girlfriend, HELL NO, but I do not think about her in that way. Hmmm. I am certainly more than an admirer, definitely not a luster, IDK.

![]() I'm actually in all three camps depending how I feel that day.
Snatcher42 brought up the Fan camp, yeah most definitely that is me.. a fan first, foremost and forever. But depending what camp you are in on that particular day you can trespass into another camp and cause friction, which is the thrust of my thread. Obviously Alizee and her music is the common denominator to all of us, we all love it. Where we go from there... is akin to a tree with branches spilling out in all directions but with a common core... the trunk. The trunk of the tree is Alizee and her music ![]() |

![]() Alizée's just... Alizée. You can't lust over something that's so talented, pure, beautiful. You'd taint it if you did (for the individual that is). To me, lusting over her only shows my lack of respect for her, so I don't do it. That's all there is to it.

![]() For me it wasn't even love for first sight.
When I heard her first time, I did fall in love... to her voice. But next 9 months or so, it was just that. I kept playing her CD over and over again. I had seen her on the cover of the CD but it didn't do really nothing for me. She was pretty girl but from those overexposed photos, you can barely see her beauty. And I didn't know about her personality. So I just grew up to be fan of her music. But then something changed everything. MCE was about to be released and I started to gather more info on her. Finally, the release of MCE and finding her performances and interviews started to change everything. First video I downloaded and saw was Ella, elle l'a. That performance and the tiny "interview" (whatever you'd want to call it after the EEL performance) it had in it, changed everything. Her smile just took me. It's unforgettable smile. After that, I wasn't just a fan of her music. I was fan of her. From that moment, every day that I have used for her, has been unforgettable. I started to look the videos more and more closely to find traces of her true personality. Try to figure out how she's behind that public image. She's good actor, and she plays her role well, but there's always some tiny moments when you can see through her. The moments when she forgets that she's in front of millions of people. The moments that she loves so much that she forgets what she was really doing. Those few moments... you just got to love them. Just watch her smile when she's truely enjoying herself and what she's doing. Those are things that makes you fall in love to her personality. She's so amazing girl behind that public image. So genuine. If I only had a chance to live around her and be able to join her presence, it would have been amazing. Without a doubt. Maybe she could have been able to change even me. But things aren't so of course. She's there somewhere, I'm here. I'm still fan of her, and always been. It's her voice and music I found first and those has kept me enjoying life since then. But I also have her. She's not physically anywhere near, nor I do know her any better than anyone hear really. But still, she's someone I can't forget anymore. Every moment I think of her, I smile. That's enough for me. She keeps my heart beating, what else do I need ? |

![]() Three cheers for the weirdos !!! lol
Seriously, I have asked myself these questions and I have trouble putting it into words. Being a musician and songwriter, I was drawn into this because of my love for music. I know the sound of Alizée’s voice is the thing that affects me most and is the binding tie. But as I learned more about her through her interviews and Stars a Domicile shows, observed her mannerisms, her eyes, her overall beauty and her performances - I began to adore the vessel from which that wonderful voice emanates. Is there love or lust in there somewhere? I don’t know, exactly. Love, lust, art and intellect, it’s all part of life. By the way, RMJ, that was a great post. |
