My guess is Serenity will be the winner, even if a suggestion gets the top vote.
NASA's site stated: "The name should reflect the spirit of exploration and cooperation embodied by the space station, and follow in the tradition set by Node 1- Unity- and Node 2- Harmony." For that reason, we know Colbert wont win regardless. If they knew the meaning of Alizée's name, it might stand a chance; but doubtful.

And you're only half-right about solar wind. While it's not actual wind of course (like on earth), it is not "the transfer of energy given off from the sun" either (what's that supposed to mean anyway?). "The solar wind is a stream of charged particles—a plasma—ejected from the upper atmosphere of the sun. It consists mostly of electrons and protons with energies of about 1 keV. The stream of particules varies in temperature and speed during time. These particles are able to escape the sun's gravity, in part because of the high temperature of the corona, but also because of high kinetic energy that particles gain through a process that is not well-understood. The solar wind creates the Heliosphere, a vast bubble in the interstellar medium surrounding the solar system. Other phenomena include geomagnetic storms that can knock out power grids on Earth, the aurorae such as the Northern Lights, and the plasma tails of comets that always point away from the sun." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solar_wind |

Did you know that only 357,626 have either voted or submitted a name in this contest? That would mean that, if we all voted every day, we should be able to make Alizee, at least, in the top ten by March 20th. Think about it! That would certainly boost ticket sales for her upcoming concert.
