I think this is one of the most gratifying pictures for me to see. I'll bet back in march, Annily was telling all her school mates about her mom's new album that was coming out, then when it didn't do so well, well even at these kids young age, they can often say the cruelest things to one another. What an incredible amount of happiness and pride that must have brought into Annily's life that night. I wonder if she ever really thought her mom had a serious chance of winning this contest against some of the big names in this contest, especially after she had her back problems.

Well you know Annily had to be walking on air the day she returned to school and you know all those kids had to be full of envy and I'll bet Alizée, even in taking or seeing this picture, didn't quite realize how much it meant to Annily, but she should. Remember how Alizée said it bothered her to be teased about her glasses? Well they won't be teasing Annily for a while.
