For those who might not know, I'm an airline worker, now retired. Before Alizee came along, I used to go mainly to warmer countries down south, Mexico, the Caribbean, etc. After I discovered Alizee, most of my vacations were spent in Europe. On my first trip to Italy, I decided to go to Rome. I learned with this song and also when she sang J'en ai marre there the next year that these songs were performed in Pistoia. So after planning on first staying Rome, I figured I'd go north to Pisa, then i saw this beautiful town of Pistoia was about the same distance as Pisa, but a little more inland, so I went to Pistoia instead.



I also looked at another performance she did of Moi Lolita in Italy. While watching, looking at the background bathed in purple light, I couldn't figure out if that was some type of movie set or a ruin. I found out it was in Taormina which is on the island of Sicily. I thought at the time that's way too far for me to go. Then I looked up more info on the location. That was a Greco Roman theater first built by the Greeks in 300 bc, then redesigned by the Romans. I looked at some pictures and knew then I had to go there. You don't see it in the video but in the background is Mt Etna.........beautiful site.
