Correct me if I'M wrong, but we are doing this for 2 reasons:

1. To let Alizee know that we would be more than happy to have her perform here.

2. To get her to perform.

And as Barrett said not to give our hopes up if she doesn't. Although it would be nice...

@ Roman... glad to see you can see the good side of things and not just the bad. It's true everything can have two sides, but it's up to us to absorb what we want out of everything and everyone. Celebrities, musicians and sport stars are as human as we are with their own weaknesses and errors, what distinguishes them is the great levels of self motivation and achievements that they've accomplished in whatever they're good at.

If you acknowledge that they're as imperfect as you are and focus on the good things that they have to offer, and use them to your advantage to motivate your own life then you'll have a more peaceful and balanced life...

@ Alizée America I for one do not see this letter as being done with the soul intent of getting a response, correct me if I'm wrong. This letter is a very nice gesture from fans to their artist, it reflects our support if anything else. Whether they read this or not and whether it inspires them to come here is out of our control. What we are in control of is what we do here in this forum or in any other forum that we're members of. You can choose to see the negative in everything that everyone else does, or you can be a team player and participate and encourage others to do the same. I know this is not an official forum, but if Alizée America ever wishes to become one this is what official forums do ;-)

hey not to start anything or be mean, but jess do u even know who alizee is because you reffered to her as "they". and if u want to try to make a better letter then be my guest...but you seem to say that we dont have any "soul intent" in it. and the people that made this letter tried their best. they made this letter for what they intended it to do, and thats to let her read it.

Yeah u may not know Jess yet but trust me he is one of hte people that preaty much knows alot About Alizee. he for one is mostly responsible for some of hte increadible video finds, Ben, and Brad abd others contributed dont get me wrong. Ask any old member and they will probably tell u the same thing Im posting right now.

Always apreaciate ur work Jess, and I do agree with ur post.

My bad, I had a few typos, typed it kind of too fast. What I'm saying is the sole intent of this letter is not just to get a response from Alizée, I personally do not expect one, but this letter serves other purpose as well that's why I'm participating. Like letting Alizée know she's got fans in America, and letting her know we support her. Another good reason is it lifts the moral of this forum when it's members participate in activities like these. Hope this clarifies my original post...

hey my bad. sorry, i did read it sort of fast and after seeing everyones posts on here about all the negative things that can come from this letter i sort of absorbed some of the things that could be misinterpreted in the wrong way. i guess i was just feeling all the negative and thats all ive noticed. so my bad i apologize. i read over your post again and noticed it was everything but bad.

Damn, Jess! Again your prose runs rings around the rest of us! But if I was stating my view here, I'd say exactly what you just said there. Only differently...

Anyway, yes, I can't believe we haven't sent it yet either. I'm slow as molasses, and it's almost January. But all excuses aside, at last report I had to edit out some mixups. Now that's done, and I'm pfutzing with the layout a little more, but should have a new, final version (lol) posted in a few hours.

In all of certainty, I'm sure that that certain person will do something sooner or later. But you do got a point there.
